泪洒天堂

Eric Clapton在西洋乐坛素有"吉他之神"的美誉，Eric Clapton漫长的音乐历程与居高不坠的名声有一半来自现场精湛的吉他表演。五十多岁方育得一子，然造化弄人，稚龄爱子竟从纽约数十层高的公寓阳台意外摔下身亡，Eric Clapton伤痛之馀，写下此曲，以纪念亡儿。
     1991年3月老来得子的Eric Clapton痛失骨肉，年仅4岁的Conor从窗户失足坠楼，这个打击几乎让他再度一蹶不振，不过将近50岁的Eric Clapton将他思念之苦寄情歌中，于是产生"Tears In Heaven"这首歌，它首先被收录于电影《迷途枷锁》(Rush)的原声带中，这也是Eric Clapton全程参与的配乐作品。 在1992年发行单曲后很快得到白金唱片并蝉联亚军，同年3月份他录制MTV音乐台相当受欢迎的不插电小型演唱会（Unplugged）时再度表演此曲
